The results
In fact, it can be integrated or not with liposuction to remove excess fat in addition to the skin. The surgery involves an incision on the inside of the arm and the removal of excess skin.
This incision heals leaving a scar that goes more or less from the elbow to the armpit area.
This scar, though subtle, remains visible.
It is carried out under general anesthesia.
Duration of the intervention: 1-2 hours.
Post-operative
Healing time: 15 days for stitches removal and return to work. 6 weeks to return to sport.
During the 6 weeks it will be necessary to wear an elastic band around the arms.
Advantages: reduction of volume and remodeling of the arm which will once again have a toned appearance.
Risks: the scar, even if hidden on the inside of the arm, can be hypertrophic and evident or not aesthetically pleasing.
