What's this?
It is the intervention that serves to rejuvenate the eyes and the gaze by eliminating excess skin and eyelid bags. Highly requested by both men and women of all ages, blepharoplasty is a small outpatient procedure capable of restoring a young and luminous gaze, giving a younger and fresher appearance to the whole face.
Those who request it complain of having tired eyes of having a sagging upper eyelid or of waking up in the morning and seeing swollen eyes or even of having so much excess skin that they are unable to see more clearly.

The results
With blepharoplasty, the bags under the eyes disappear and the previously wrinkled skin becomes smooth and toned again.
Blepharoplasty is divided into upper (upper eyelid) and lower (lower eyelid) and in the first case involves an incision in the eyelid fold; in the second case the incision can instead be both subciliary (external blepharoplasty) and only conjunctival (transconjunctival blepharoplasty). The scars are therefore totally invisible
It is an operation that can be performed on an outpatient basis; it is performed under local anesthesia and the duration is quite short (30 min - 1 hour).
Post-operative
The postoperative course is very simple and painless:
- 3/4 days to return to everyday life;
- 1 week for complete healing.
Postoperative instructions
Relative rest for the first 2/3 days after which you can also go back to work; remember to protect your eyes by using sunglasses when going out. During the first week, take the prescribed medications and lubricate the eyes with eye drops. Return to everyday life, including sports, within a week of the operation.
